About the Project
Joy is contagious...
When SkyGate Studios was approached to come up with something that was more about the FEELING of coming to the garden center than about the products, we jumped at the opportunity!
So we came up with a story where a mom and dad bring their little girl to the Good Earth. Like most kids, she loves to draw and doodle. We soon begin to see the wonder of the Good Earth through the imaginative eyes of this little girl as if it were populated by her own drawings. The garden center comes to life as the inner child within us all awakens and beckons us to play, smile and recall the innocense of pure joy… all inspired by the things found and EXPERIENCED at the Good Earth Garden Center… and by the end, the dad sees it too.

Character Design
We depict the world of The Good Earth Garden Center as though it exists as drawn by the innocent imaginings of children. It was essential the characters and props embody the spirit of that charm!
Animation & VFX
Pencil and paper textures animate to communicate the whimsical feelings one experiences in this place! But then we must blend these things with the real world in such a way that they interact with foreground and background elements and even lighting.
